Lego Mindstorm EV3

This series of challenges will take us through the programming basics for Lego Mindstorms EV3 units of different designs.
It has been designed for those who do not have direct access to the robots.

The learning outcomes will hopefully be:

  • The ability to design various programs for the EV3 units
  • Development of logical thinking
  • Recognition of the complexities involved with programming different hardware set-ups

Elegoo Cars

Valiants

The Valiant robot is a 2 wheel chassis with a variety of sensors on board, including external boards which allow two way communication with other Valiant members in the 'flock'. In the following worksheets, we introduce how to move the motors and interact with the sensors to find and avoid obstacles.

Blender

Blender is a free and open source 3D creation suite software. You can download the program from the Blender Website.
